History of study and development

The presence of molybdenum occurrences in the quartz veins of the Manstev Gorge, located southeast of Teghut village, was first discovered in the second half of the 1930s.
Prospecting and surveying activities conducted between 1956 and 1959 confirmed significant accumulations of copper-molybdenum ores in the specified area.

Geological exploration work, which led to the discovery of the deposit, began in the 1970s and continued for 20 years.
